David E. Moran

David E. Moran, 67, of Medford, NJ, died peacefully Wednesday, February 5th, 2025, surrounded by his children. 

Dave was a Shawnee graduate of 1975 and later attended UNC Greensboro & Rider University. He went on to become a dedicated manager of Acme Markets for 30+ years and a loving father to 5 children. 

He is survived by his 5 children, Eric Moran, Allison Clauges (Russell), David Ryan Moran (Emily), Angelea Rapp, & Jaclynn Moran; five grandchildren who he adored, Kayleigh, Ryan, Emma Jo, & Chase Clauges, & Ella Moran; as well as his 2 siblings, Cheryl Cassidy (Harry) & Mike Moran (Sue); & many nieces & nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, whom he held a special bond with, John (Jack) Moran & Shirley Moran (Midgley); along with his golfing partner & grandfather, Eric Midgley. 

Dave will be remembered for his love of the simple things- a can of Coca-Cola, a phone call to his kids, or an Eagles’ win, as well as his sense of humor, and generous spirit. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13th at 5pm at Faith Presbyterian Church, 318 Stokes Road, Medford NJ 08055, with services to follow at 6pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA, your local animal shelter, or Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
