Northfield, NJ

Kenneth F. Christiansen, of Northfield, NJ, passed away on February 9th, 2025, at the age of 77.

Born to the late Carlo and Getrude (nee Allebach) on October 7th,1947 in Camden, NJ. Ken is the beloved brother of Kay Lee. Growing up, Ken attended Pennsauken High School as graduate class of 1966. While in high school, Ken was very active in extracurricular activities. He played for the football team, sang in the choir, and even was a member of the Allstate Choir of New Jersey. Ken’s creativity knew no bonus, as he and his friends’ produced musicals and plays with his theatre friends.

In 1976, Ken met his wife and dear friend, Anne Christiansen, at an audition for “1776” at the 76 House. Together they raised their three loving children, Peter Christiansen (deceased), Kate (Matt) Cipoletti and Andy Christiansen. Ken loved being their father, he always tried to attend their extracurricular activities and sporting events. His outgoing personality made it easy to put a smile on his children’s face. His children remember fondly bonding with their dad singing songs at home or at their family church. Ken’s world became much brighter when he became the loving grandfather of Thomas Cipoletti, Elliott Christiansen, Sam Christiansen, and Aoife Christiansen. Ken looked forward to carrying on the same traditions he made with his own children with his grandchildren. Ken is also survived by his nephew, Douglas T. Lee, great nephew Allen J. Parker, nephew Steven C Lee, and great niece and nephew McKenna Lee and Christian Lee.

When Ken was not spending time with his family, he could be found as the Tenor soloist for Margate Community Church or working at the Twisted Dune Golf Course chatting with local golfers. Ken’s main career was working in the Casinos dealing cards at the poker tables for (he worked at all of them lol). His generous spirit took to helping out local charity events in the community where he would also deal cards. Ken loved being around people and being able to make friends wherever he went, spending a lot of time at the Elks Lodge in Egg Harbor Township. Ken was truly happiest around his friends and family.

Ken will be remembered fondly by those who knew him for his charismatic, charming personality, and his love for his family.

Services will be held privately.
